Day 2: Busy

So. I found it funny that "busy" fell on my one day off during the week. The day that I let everything slide and just veg. The above picture is the only one I ended up taking. I didn't realize that or I would have tried to get a better shot..you get the general idea of how my morning was spent, though.
How were you busy today?

Day 1: Morning

The window sill at my apartment by work. The succulent is from a floral arrangement that we got to take home after one of the first weddings this season.

New Project!

In which I will post a photo a day, according to the above list. This seemed like a fun way to share bits of my life. Today's coming up right after this!

Four.

The number of days left until July, one of my favorite months.

The many places I have lived in the last year.

The number of different ice cream cartons I am contributing here: (don't judge us!)
There are twelve in all, in case you were wondering. For five girls. Ha.

The date of my second Favorite Holiday:

(after Christmas.)

The number of stations on the line that I am working this week: Pantry(Salads), Broiler, Bar Apps, and Middle.

How is your week going?

Her Royal Highness...

...Can't help but giggle as she passes her husband, Duke of Edinburgh, in full uniform. You go girl, I'd be laughing, too.

Hello Summer!

Its (un)officially here. Warm weather, and long sun-soaked days. Even the nights are nice.
I don't have enough time to do a good update, so I'll just share whats been on my mind pretty much none-stop the last few weeks: summertime food and vintage swimsuits. Yup.

While nothing can come close/compare to the chicken and steak that my dad makes on the grill, these dishes looked pretty amazing to me:

Heirloom Tomato Tart
Popsicle time

Cherry Tart

And vintage swimwear. Sigh. Why don't we still dress this way? WHY?

 Off to the beach...

Before Blogging. And Email.

There was this. (photo via here)

Did you ever have a pen pall? Do you still write letters?
I do, although my reply's are few and far between I am afraid.
